ZAC BROWN BAND PROMO/COUPON CODE = CONCERT
"My Old Man" from the Welcome Home album has been nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 2018 Grammy Awards on 1/28/18.
Flying a bit under the radar, the Zac Brown Band has established itself as a major force in the country and folk music industry. With an impressive group of successful albums and singles, the group is still being constantly "discovered" by millions of new fans.
With mutiple members in the band, the Zac Brown Band gives a lot of sound. They have toured and appeared in festivals and are still in a process of evolution. They had already enjoyed commercial success with their song "Chicken Fried" when they brought on Clay Cook to give vocals and instrumentals. They also added Daniel de los Reyes in 2012 as a percussionist.
Clearly, this band is perennially changing its sound and style, but that hasn't stopped the awards from rolling in. They have garnered more than 50 nominations from the industry's top associations and institutions, and their fifth studio album, "Uncaged", debuted at the top of the Billboard charts.
In fact, the band freely comments on its changing style when asked. In an interview given to Great American Country, the band's drummer said that they have "grown together. And...play really, really well together. That level of maturity...shows up on 'Uncaged'."
Collaboration seems to be the secret to the band's success since they tend to have a lot of credits on each of their albums. A disc with eleven tunes might have ten writers. This proves that they have built their sound out of the talents they have recruited, and this is something that critics and fans continually respond to.
The Zac Brown Band is unique in the music world because of this. After all, when a band is consistently labeled as a critical success, it may not mean that they have extremely high sales. This, however, is not the case with this band. They can safely cover the kinds of musical terrain that they have already mastered, and yet safely shift across the lines between folk and country - as well as other genres - without jarring or losing their audience.
