Atlanta Braves Tickets

Atlanta Braves Promo/Coupon Code = BASEBALL

The Atlanta Braves are the oldest operating professional sports franchise in the United States. It gave baseball fans great sports history made up of success, great ballplayers and management, stadiums as well as losses and even title droughts. The Braves have a rich beginning – from its ancestors to their location changes from Boston to Milwaukee and now in Atlanta.

Sticking to the Braves franchise, it started operating in the 1871 under the name of Boston Red Stockings. Of all the MLB franchises, the Braves baseball team is the only one that fielded a team every season. As the Red Stockings, the team became one of the charter members of NAPBP or the “National Association of Professional Baseball Players”, which became the forerunner of the National League. The Braves ancestor started strong and dominated baseball in the early days.4 One of the highlights in this decade was winning 26 straight ball games and capturing six of the first eight titles known as pennants.

As the Boston Braves in NL, they were called as “Miracle Braves” as they captured their first ever World Series in 1914. Unfortunately, the rise of the Boston Red Sox started the decline of the Braves. When they moved unexpectedly to Milwaukee, they became the Milwaukee Braves. The decline in fan attendance during the games prompted the management to move to Atlanta. In 1966, they embraced the new environment and made the Atlanta Stadium their home.

Currently, the team is playing at the newly opened SunTrust Park in Atlanta.  They formerly played their games at Turner Field. They have captured the World Series three times with the most recent one in 1995. As the Atlanta Braves, the team has enjoyed many successful years.

On the other hand, Turner field is one of Atlanta’s noteworthy landmarks and it became a benchmark for many of the baseball park designs. This baseball field integrates classic baseball atmosphere together with high-end and family entertainment such as its sound systems, BravesVision video board, PlazaVision board and many more state-of-the-art equipment. In its opening as the Braves’ home stadium, the Braves delivered mightily, defeating the Chicago Cubs. In 1996, the stadium served as an Olympic Stadium during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
